Terms of Use

The rules that govern your use of the NEOSUM platform.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using NEOSUM ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use the Platform. Use is void where prohibited by applicable law.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account at security@neosum.io.

4. Subscription & Payment

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
  • All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, etc.), which will be added at checkout.
  • Payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or our 14-day trial refund policy.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice via email.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Upload malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm the Platform or other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data.
  • Use the Platform to send spam, unsolicited messages, or engage in phishing.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Platform.
  • Resell or sublicense access without written permission.

6. Intellectual Property

NEOSUM and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the Platform, including software, trademarks, logos, and documentation. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for your internal business purposes only.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all business data and content you upload to the Platform ("Your Content"). You grant NEOSUM a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the service to you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models shared with other customers.

8. AI Features

AI-generated outputs (recommendations, forecasts, summaries) are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures as described in our Privacy Policy. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. You acknowledge that you provide data at your own risk and agree to implement reasonable security measures on your end (strong passwords, 2FA, access reviews).

10. Uptime & Support

We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the core platform (excluding scheduled maintenance). Scheduled maintenance will be announced at least 24 hours in advance via status.neosum.io. Support is provided via in-app chat and email; response times depend on your subscription tier.

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud, or create legal risk for NEOSUM. Upon termination, you have 30 days to export your data before it is deleted.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NEOSUM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran for customers contracting with our Iranian entity, and by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (Dubai International Financial Centre) for all other customers. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product or legal changes. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
